Founded on September 22, 2012, Rancho Folclórico Ribatejano de Toronto is dedicated to promoting the vibrant dances, songs, and traditional attire of Portugal’s Ribatejo province. Our group brings the energy of the “Lezíria” heartland to the Canadian stage, celebrating a region famous for its agricultural roots and iconic campino (cowboy) heritage. From the rhythmic and high-energy Fandango to the signature green and red carapuça (stocking caps), every performance is an authentic tribute to our ancestors. As proud cultural ambassadors in Ontario, we strive to bridge the gap between generations, ensuring that the unique spirit and traditions of Ribatejo continue to thrive within the Luso-Canadian community.
