Nancy de Sousa | Secretary
As a second-generation ACAPO member, I grew up deeply connected to this community. From sleeping on chairs at Casa do Alentejo to attending the First Portuguese CCC Portuguese School and dancing in the Transmontano Folklore Group, Portuguese culture has always been part of my identity. A passionate Sporting CP fan, I carry cherished memories, including my earliest ACAPO memory from around 1988: watching the founders count Portugal Week money out of garbage bags. These experiences shaped my commitment to preserving and strengthening Portuguese heritage in Toronto.
